Who it's for

  • Planners and PMs who store meeting notes and specs in Notion and want instant summaries and drafts directly in the doc without switching windows.
  • Anyone struggling to find conclusions scattered across hundreds of pages. You can ask across the workspace and get answers with source links.
  • People who translate English materials into Korean for their team. Translation, summarization, and sharing happen all in one document.

Drawbacks

  • AI is tied to higher-tier paid plans. The free plan only offers a few trial uses, so real use requires a paid subscription.
  • It cannot access files or emails outside Notion. Materials in Google Drive or Outlook must be moved to Notion first.
  • Larger workspaces can slow down search responses, and it may occasionally base answers on outdated or archived pages.

Getting started

  1. On an empty line in a Notion page, press the Spacebar to open the AI prompt.
  2. Give an instruction referencing the current page, like 'Extract decisions and assignees from these meeting notes into a table.'
  3. Insert the generated text directly, then refine it with options like rewrite, lengthen, or change tone.
  4. Use the AI search at the top right to ask questions like 'Conclusions from last month's marketing meeting' across the entire workspace.
  5. Save frequently used prompts in a template page and share them with your team.
