Who it's for
- Office workers who write dozens of emails and messenger replies daily. Wispr Flow polishes what you say cleanly and pastes it right into your text box.
- People who type slowly or struggle with long keyboard sessions due to wrist pain. Hold the shortcut key and speak to type in any app.
- College students who write better by talking through their thoughts first. Quickly create assignment drafts by speaking, then edit by hand.
Drawbacks
- The free limit resets weekly, so using it daily can exhaust your quota by midweek.
- Some reviews note that when mixing English words into Korean sentences, you must pronounce the English clearly for accurate transcription.
- Spoken audio is processed on the server. Check your company's security policies before dictating confidential corporate information.
Getting started
- Install the app for your device from the official website and sign up.
- Grant microphone and accessibility permissions.
- Add Korean to your language settings.
- Click on an email text box, hold the shortcut key, and speak. Example: "Can we push tomorrow's meeting to 3 PM? I'll send the materials by this evening."
- Check the transcribed text, and add frequently used names or terms to your dictionary.
