Who it's for
- Users who need to query numbers inside tables, like financial statements or experiment results. It recognizes tables accurately, unlike other PDF tools that often flatten them into plain text.
- Users who want to run OCR on scanned image PDFs to ask questions. It is useful for digitizing and working with older materials.
- Users who want to verify answers with source highlights. Clicking a citation instantly highlights the relevant table or paragraph in the original document.
Drawbacks
- The free plan has low document and query limits, making a paid plan necessary for regular use. It is best suited for testing with one or two files.
- Operated by a Chinese company, so you should review its data processing policy before uploading sensitive documents.
- The interface is only in English and Chinese, which may feel unfamiliar to beginners. Korean queries and answers work, but UI menus remain untranslated.
Getting started
- Sign up on the official website and upload a document. Turn on the OCR option for scanned PDFs.
- Once processed, ask questions in Korean in the right-side chat panel. Example: "What is the 2025 revenue in the table on page 2?"
- Click the citation in the answer to view the highlighted table or sentence in the original document.
- To query multiple documents together, create a collection and upload them. Example: "Combine the revenue tables from these three reports into one."
- When you reach the limit, check the pricing page for the Pro plan. Review the data processing policy before uploading sensitive files.
Similar tools
- ChatPDF ◐Free plan ChatPDF is simpler and requires no login, but ChatDOC is better for querying numbers inside tables.
- Gemini Notebook ◐Free plan NotebookLM offers generous free limits and sentence-level citations, but its table interpretation is weaker.
- AskYourPDF ◐Free plan AskYourPDF has tight daily document limits, while ChatDOC excels at reading table-heavy documents.
