Who it's for

  • Users who want to upload and query not only PDFs, but also Word, PPT, and EPUB files directly without converting formats.
  • Users who want to skim a single document quickly without logging in. Some features work without an account, while signing up saves your chat history.
  • Students who want to verify answers with exact page numbers. The free tier is sufficient for skimming a few papers for assignments.

Drawbacks

  • The free plan has daily limits on documents, pages, and questions, making it insufficient for lengthy materials.
  • The UI and guides are primarily in English, which may pose a learning curve for beginners. It answers in Korean when asked in Korean, but the menus remain in English.
  • It only cites up to the page number rather than highlighting specific sentences. Tools like NotebookLM are better if precise citations are needed.

Getting started

  1. Open the official website and drag and drop your document. You can start without signing up.
  2. Once processing is complete, a summary appears. Type your question in Korean in the input box below. Example: "Summarize only the termination conditions in this contract."
  3. Click the page numbers attached to the answer to check the original source.
  4. To query across multiple documents or handle longer files, create an account and consider the Premium plan.
  5. Install the Chrome extension to ask questions directly on PDFs opened in your browser. Copying frequently used prompts makes it easy to reuse them across multiple documents.
