Who it's for

  • Students and teachers who want to learn why it is wrong through explanations. It shows rules and examples for each error
  • People writing texts where rule compliance is critical, such as theses or cover letters. Highly reliable with time-tested, rule-based checks
  • Anyone looking to check text directly on the web without installing software or signing up

Drawbacks

  • Only checks up to 300 words at a time, requiring longer texts to be split into multiple batches
  • The interface has an outdated design and is inconvenient on mobile. There is no file upload, so you must copy and paste text
  • A separate license is required for corporate business use

Getting started

  1. Open the checker website. No login is required.
  2. Paste your text within 300 words and click "Check".
  3. Errors, suggestions, and explanations will appear on the right. Read the explanation and decide whether to accept the change.
  4. Copy the corrected text back to your original document, then paste the next 300 words.
  5. For long texts, scan first with Bareun Checker, then use this tool to check explanations for confusing parts.
