Who it's for

  • Creators who want to avoid copyright issues with video BGM. Composing your own tracks reduces the hassle of checking audio license terms.
  • Anyone needing calm, instrumental music. Ideal for places where voiceover is added, such as presentation videos or in-store background music.
  • People who want to play or arrange music using sheet music. MIDI downloads are available on higher-tier plans.

Drawbacks

  • Copyright for tracks made on the free and lower-tier plans remains with the service. Higher-tier plans are required for commercial use.
  • It cannot generate songs with vocals. You will need a different tool if you need vocal tracks.
  • The interface is in English and genres use musical terminology, so it takes some time to explore and learn at first.

Getting started

  1. Sign up on the official website and click Create Track.
  2. Choose a genre, mood, and set the duration. 2 to 3 minutes works well for presentation videos.
  3. Listen to the generated tracks and keep only the ones you like.
  4. If needed, adjust the instrumentation by section and regenerate.
  5. Download the track as an MP3. If you plan to use it commercially, check the copyright terms for your plan first.
